Dr. SAMI ASSOULAIMANI

Global CEO

Founder of FINEOPOLIS, Dr. Sami has accumulated 15 years of professional experience in the Islamic finance industry with exposure to several jurisdictions. Member of the advocacy and awareness Board, AAOIFI and Honorary fellow at the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration, Dr Sami lead and executed dozens of consulting projects laying from regulatory advisory, transformative projects to Islamic financial engineering, within different industry segments such as Islamic capital markets, banking, microfinance, Zakat, Waqf, Takaful  and Fintech. Moreover, in coordination with international partners, Dr. Sami was responsible also for the academic and professional programs and curricula design and/or direction of different post graduate diplomas in Islamic finance.

Mr. MOHAMMED ALAMI

Mr. Al-Alami holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Institute of Economic and Social Development of the University of Paris -1 and a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Aix-Marseille, France. He worked in several companies in France before joining the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah in 1991 He was also a representative in Paris of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (based in Washington) from 1986-1988. He spent 27 years in the Islamic Development Bank between the Research Division of the Islamic Institute for Research and Training, then the President’s Office, then supervised the bank’s projects in Mauritania, Tunisia, Libya and the UAE in the operations and projects Department of the bank, then Manager of the Board Affairs Division and the Board of Governors in the bank’s general secretariat. 

Mr. MOHAMMED BOULIF

Managing Partner for Europe at FINEOPOLIS, Mr. Boulif founded in 2004, the first Islamic Finance consulting firm in continental Europe. The company participated widely in the promotion of Islamic Finance in the region. As a pioneer in the Islamic finance industry, Mr. Boulif was ranked among the Top 50 international personalities who make Islamic Economy and Finance worldwide and is listed continuously in the Islamica 500 ranking. Mr. Boulif held several influential professional and official positions in Europe, such as the Chairman of the Belgian Muslim Council, an official body representing the Muslim Community, or C-Level positions within the Dar Al Maal Al Islami group (DMI). As consultant, Mr. Boulif worked on several projects in Africa, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. He was also a visiting professor at several major universities in Europe and Africa.
